2009 saw an increasing number of members choosing to apply for products on the internet, so further investment has been made in ensuring that our Yorkshire and Barnsley websites are at the forefront of the market, easy to use, supportive and helpful.

We have redesigned the online savings facility, making accounts much simpler to open and operate online. A new online 'webchat' service has also been launched, enabling visitors to have a live 'chat' with a representative.

To ensure we can continue to reach a broad customer base with great-value products, we have broadened the range of accounts offered on the internet to include Fixed-Term Bonds and Guaranteed Investment Accounts.
