Chelsea Home Select insurance policy is underwritten by Legal
& General Insurance Ltd for Chelsea Building Society. We are committed
to providing a consistently high level of service. However, we recognise
that occasionally situations arise where customers feel the need to complain.
If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received please contact
us on 0845 603 4897 . If you remain dissatisfied and we
cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you have the right
to refer to the Financial Ombudsman Service, details of how to do this
will be provided with your policy. The complaints procedure does not affect
your right to take legal action.
The law applicable to this policy
This contract is governed by the laws of England and
Wales.
Use of your information
Chelsea will
pass information about you, including information relating to any claims you make to
the insurer, Legal & General Insurance Ltd.
Information about you may be obtained from other insurers to check the information you provide when taking out the policy or making a claim, and may be given to other insurers for the same purpose. If you make a claim, any information that you provide to Chelsea or Legal & General Insurance Ltd may be put on a register of claims held by a fraud prevention agency, which other insurers use to prevent fraudulent claims. You have the right of access to the information held about you by Chelsea, Legal & General Insurance Ltd and any fraud prevention agency that they or we use, and we will supply their names and addresses on request. The Insurer for Chelsea Home Select is Legal & General Insurance Ltd. The Insurer for the Home Emergency Service is Inter Partner Assistance SA. Keycare is provided by Landmark Insurance Ltd. Chelsea offers and administers this policy on behalf of Legal & General Insurance Ltd, which means that we will deal with any queries or changes to the policy and its renewal.
