Protected Capital Accounts

You can save as little as £3,000 in our Protected Capital Accounts, using either Cash ISA’s savings or direct deposits, or a mixture of the two.

You can apply online, in branch or by post for either or both of our 6-year term Plans, Fixed Growth 7 and Tracked Growth 40. If you hold the Plan for the full investment term your capital is protected Your money is protected in the same way as any other bank or building society account you may have. Should Yorkshire Building Society default there is no protection or guarantee provided by Credit Suisse or any other third party. Early exit fees apply**

Fixed Growth 7

If the FTSE® 100 index falls below 60% of its starting level at anytime during the 6 year term, you'll get 6.15% gross payable on maturity, equivalent to 1.00% AER. However as long as the FTSE® 100 Index doesn't fall below 60% of its starting level at anytime during the 6 year term, you'll achieve 33.25% gross payable on maturity, equivalent to 4.90% gross/AER.

Tracked Growth 40

Benefit from potential growth in the stock market and at maturity you will earn at least the minimum growth of 6.15% gross (equivalent to 1.00% AER) plus your investment back if you hold the Plan for the full investment term.  If the FTSE® 100 Index performs well, you could receive growth of up to 48% gross (equivalent to 6.75% AER).
