Chelsea's blanket appeal

Staff at Chelsea Building Society in Cheltenham have responded to Cheltenham Animal Shelter's appeal for blankets to keep the cats and dogs warm this winter.
The shelter is struggling to cope with the number of animals that require a blanket, especially during the cold weather. The shelter holds more than 50 dogs and a dozen cats – all of which need a blanket or duvet to keep them warm at night.
Staff from Chelsea's head office are donating items and its local branch on High Street, Cheltenham would also be delighted to accept donations of blankets, food, treats, towels, duvets and sheets but no pillows.
You can drop them off at the branch office or you can also arrange to drop off your donations to the shelter directly:
