Chelsea's change to SVR

CHELSEA, the UK’s 6th largest Building Society is announcing an increase to its Standard Variable Rate from 6.99%, (typical APR 7.0% variable) to 7.24%, (typical APR 7.5% variable). This is in response to the recent increase in the Bank of England Base Rate on 11 January 2007. This change takes effect on 1 February 2007.
